The brief
Child Houses protects children in crisis by keeping them with their families. Its website had to explain an approach that is different from an orphanage, and make it easy to give the moment an emergency hits.
We built the site around the three questions supporters ask: what is the problem, what do you do about it, and how does my gift help? The approach, supporting the child, strengthening the family and empowering the community, is explained once and repeated everywhere.
The donation page puts the amount and frequency first, ties each amount to what it pays for, and keeps the form short. The Syria emergency page uses the same form, so the charity can launch an appeal without building a new page.
