The brief
A podcast network has to look like one family, while every show keeps its own character. Al Jazeera’s Arabic podcasts cover history, politics and culture, each in its own voice.
For Rumooz, a show about the figures who shaped Arab history, we drew each guest as an illustrated portrait and wrote their names in custom Arabic calligraphy, then animated it for video. For Lahtha, which revisits decisive moments in the region’s history, we built a collage look from archive photographs.
For Baad Ams, we rebranded the show and redesigned its episode covers and story templates, set in the network’s Al-Jazeera Arabic typeface. We have also worked on other shows across the network, from Hikayat al-Harb to Athar al-Farasha.
